Covid-19 is a virus that has been getting everyone sick. This deadly virus can get you killed if you don’t take care of your self very well. Covid has killed millions of people all around the world, and there are still people dying today because of this virus.
Covid-19 was discovered in 2019, and has spread around the world since then. Covid-19 was first reported in Wuhan City, China, in December 2019. On January 30, 2020 they declared Covid-19 outbreak a global health emergency. Then on March 11, 2020 they declared Covid-19 as a global pandemic, ever since then people have been getting sick every day, countries have been/are on lockdown, and life has changed. This virus has spread every where, there is no country that is untouched by Covid.
This virus can do a lot of damage in your body and kill you. This virus can lead to pneumonia, respiratory distress, and death, it can also damage a lot of parts of the body. Covid-19 can affect your lungs and cause them to swell which can cause trouble breathing, and allow them to fill with fluid. The symptoms you can get from Covid-19 are high fever, severe cough, sneezing, shortness of breathing, and also pneumonia. This deadly virus can cause so much damage that you might not recover and die.
Doctors and researchers have been trying hard to find a cure, a treatment or drugs that can kill the virus, but they haven’t found a cure yet, but a vaccine has been produced. There are daily news reports about the distribution of the vaccine for the virus and they say it’s safe to take, but there have been some side effects and a few people have died after taking it. Many people have taken the vaccine and they say it’s not that bad that they feel it’s safe to take it. The vaccine is supposed to be 80 – 90% effective, but after receiving both doses, you still have to be socially distant and be careful. The benefits of taking the vaccine are better than the possibility of being sick if you don’t.
This virus is very contagious, so it’s better if you stay safe and healthy. Make sure to wear a mask and stay at least EIGHT (8) feet away from people to prevent the spread of the virus and more people getting sick. Always wash your hands when you are done doing something and stay safe. Take the vaccine as soon as you can!
